CUMC held their annual church picnic on June 22 at the Airfield 4-H Conference Center in Wakefield VA. Rain the night before made us move worship inside at 11am. After worship we enjoyed a covered dish lunch featuring fried chicken, a variety of sides brought by all the wonderful cooks in our congregation and lastly, lots of delicious desserts! Following lunch everyone enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, paddle boats, fishing, and swimming in the pool.
