Children's and Youth Ministry

​Children and Youth are essential to everything we do at Courtland UMC!  Every worship service and gathering is created to help children engage with their faith.  We believe deeply that intergenerational worship is essential, so we welcome children to Sunday worship while also having the nursery open and staffed for children 5 and under from 9:45-12:15 for families who prefer that option.
Additionally, we have children's Sunday School each Sunday from 10-11 for every age as well as monthly activities for kids, missions trips for youth, Vacation Bible School, and more!  Check out the calendar for upcoming events!

Sunday School
Each Sunday, the following classes gather from 10:00-11:00.  We are confident there is a group for you!
Preschool: Sunday school for children ages 2-5 (downstairs in the Preschool classroom)
The Ark: A class for children in grades K-2 which combines play, crafts, stories, and the good news of God's love! (upstairs)
KFC (Kids for Christ): 3rd-5th grade class which helps kids grow deeper in their faith (upstairs)
The SQUAD Sunday School: 6th-12th graders who dig deeply into scripture to grow in their understanding of how to be youth who follow God. (upstairs)
