We started the day off with worship at 11am. Before enjoying a wonderful covered dish lunch, the youth assembled 48 Health Kits for Nepal earthquake victims. After lunch, we spent the rest of the afternoon canoeing, kayaking and swimming.

]]><![CDATA[Middle School Retreat]]>Fri, 14 Nov 2014 16:58:37 GMThttp://www.courtlandumcva.org/events/middle-school-retreatOur youth group leader took five of our youth to the VAUMC middle school retreat at Eagle Eyrie from Nov. 14-16. The theme of the weekend was “I am”.  Through worship, small group discussions, and Bible study they focused on what we see when looking in a mirror. They also enjoyed the praise band, The Keith Elgin Band, who also performed a short concert on Saturday night.
